Forgiveness doesn't merely mean we are forgiven and saved from hell and now can go on with our lives. Forgiveness means that we are now "forgiven" into a newly created relationship which identifies me with God in Christ. This is the miracle of redemption...the transformation of the unholy one into the standards of the perfect one.
