In Leviticus chapter 10, without warning, God strikes down and kills Aaron's two sons, Nadab and Abihu because they used the wrong kind of fire for the offering.
"So fire blazed forth from the Lord’s presence and burned them up, and they died there before the Lord."
Remarkably, Aaron and Moses was present and witnessed this tragic event. Neither of them saw it coming and they were dumbfounded. The bible says Aaron remained silent. Obviously he must have been in shock.
But the real story goes that Aaron turned to his brother Moses and wailed, "Holy Shishkabob! What the Falafel?"
